When i still had the stock manifolds I did a custom 2.5inch mandrel bent setup. that whole system is now on my brothers car with the 3400 swap done in it.

I welded up a downpipe and full exhaust on a cavalier with the 2000+ 3100 swap using mandrel bends. What a pain in the rear.....

i made 2.5" one for my 3400. i actually just modified(added length to) a stock 3.4 dohc pipe before the first bend.

aaron - why in the hell do you bother posting in the pushrod section, with your stuff that has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH PUSHRODS OR THE TOPIC AT HAND.

Seems to be a popular thing then. Im hoping it kinda helps the motor out. Im also contemplating wrapping the exhaust manifolds, crossover and top half of the downpipe. A 1' x 50' roll from DEI i believe is $25 from Summit so i may just throw that in the cart with the bends. That should be good for a couple ponies on its own.

the wrap wont really help with hp... the down pipe and full exhaust will help though

By wrapping the exhaust i should see atleast a 50* drop. That should without a doubt increase efficiency should it not?

the wrap may help with power if it keeps underhod temps lower(cooler intake), but 50degrees seems a bit optomistic...it's also supposed to increase exhaust velocity by keeping temps up inside the pipe, but i would only count on picking up a little tiny part of a pony from the wrap.

I wasnt expecting any huge noticeable gains but i did want to see the temp drop. The Gen2 seems to like a faster intake charge as opposed to a larger one but im going to try and make an intake arm with a short filter and see what happens. For giggles atleast, haha.
