Just wondering all that is involved in a camshaft regrind for 3400s. From my understanding, you get in touch with a company such as crower and tell them what you want out of your cam. Then you send the cam to them. They do the regrind and you get the cam back. You reinstall the cam with longer custom pushrods that offset the shortened base circle. Am I missing anything in this process, and what is the usual wait time expected for the regrind to be performed?

If you want cam in the next 6 months, go for the regrind. Cause I can guarantee Milzy's cam isn't going to be out any sooner than that. As far as the regrind, you pretty much have it all figured out. Crower can get the cam turned around in less than a week.-Brad-

Send it off tomorrow and you'll be putting the engine in the car in 2 weeks (unless you are doing other work which will delay it longer).-Brad-

I made a couple of adustable pushrods too do my motor, it worked well Set it, measure it, and order some the correct length.
As for the cams, if anyone actually wanted a 3100/3400 cam right now, I could get you a 1 off custom for 500 bucks.........
