hey I still went faster than daily but I am giving up for this year due to lack of funds I will try to catch up next year if every one dosen't go too much faster!
Haha, I still got both of you guys on street tires.
But 16seconddreams is going back to the track soon...
Hmm well with an H260 you would be pushing the limits of emissions. It would be a challenge to make that cam pass. What all has been done to this motor? Come on spill the beans
14.46 vs 14.96 on street tires. thats half a second. lets be realistic here.
ok I will race you with YOU driving YOUR car! not Dan

9.63@74.36 in the 1/8th
14.30 on slicks! scrapped due to rust!
Actually Brad, I've only gotten a 14.72 out of mine so far. I have had a better mph though at 94.92 MPH.
The car I'm sure would've done better this year with the new exhaust. It certainly feels better, but the trans just doesn't work good enough to take it to the track anymore.
I've been slacking this year, with all of my money going towards a new house, in ground pool, fence, all new furniture, etc, etc......
But I've got my new tranny waiting to go in, and have some new projects on the way, so I'm hoping next year will be a better one.
Oh, and congrats on the awesome time 14sec!!
nice times. someone earlier mentioned is this a 400 meter or 1320FT
I thought thats the same??? or is there like a couple inches difference?
Damn everyones in the 14s now. well i know i have a beretta, but what is the weight difference between Cavi/sunbird? I hope to get my trap speed up when i get my true cold air and full 2.5" exhaust.

waiting a year for people to catch up eh?
Just swap that engine into a Fiero and run 13's...
Current:
\'87 Fiero GT: 12.86@106 - too dam many valves; ran 12.94 @ 112 on new engine, then broke a CV joint
\'88 Fiero Formula: slow and attention getting; LZ8 followed by LLT power forthcoming
\'88 BMW 325iX: The penultimate driving machine awaiting a heart transplant
Gone, mostly forgotten:
\'90 Pontiac 6000 SE AWD: slow but invisible
hahahahah I'm 6' 275lbs you think a fiero is really a good idea for me?
and Ben don't worry mine is a 3xtx too
gears:
1: 3.5
2: 2.05
3:1.38
4:1.03
5:.72
FDR: 3.94:1
I went around town talking to tranny shops about just doing it for me because I'm not too kean on shimming the diff myself. went to one shop and he told me it's basically the same as a rebuild and that not all the case bolts will line up and that there is a super amount of preload on the case which will make the job $550. I smiled and said "are you sure?" and he nodded and I said "well I have one of them in the back of my car here now, case cracked open and it only took about 45 minutes with hand tools."
eat a dick.

maybe my \"dreams\" should be a little higher :P
I'm deciding between a 3.94 box with 1.02 4th and a 284 for my Fiero... The 284's geared a lot closer in the lower gears, but has a 3.67 diff, while I'd like something a bit deeper.
In that app the thing I really want to stay away from is the 3.77 1st/2.15 2nd combo.
What cars had the 3.50 1st and 2.15 2nd combo?
Excessive preload on the case? What kind of BS line is that guy trying to feed you?
