Nice ET. The trap speed has been matched by 2.8/3.1 types. This shows either a very low weight package(RWD) or some good suspension tuning.

I have yet to run a "street tyre" time since the Holley was installed and tuned and the rest of the changes i did.. as i was trying to get that damned 13 sec run. it was just full on slicks or nothing.
my 14.39 was a full interior time... amp and cd deck still in the car.
maybe i'll have to bring the car out of retirement next weekend go down to Fargo and run some street tyre times again :P

NormGT: that is on a stock suspension (not even new), the only exception being a Z51 front sway bar with zero weight reduction.

the best mph we got was 96.54 on a 14.48 run.

the best we got on slicks was a 14.33 before a shifter cable gave up the ghost.
we were still trying to figure out the slicks, getting a 1.95 60' on the run that bent the shifter cable.
still got quite a few things to do including ported manifolds,solid mounts, bigger tb, rear suspension, maybe front suspension, weight reduction and some computer tuning

oh ya, during a nice smokey slick burnout, the engine saw 7000 RPM, seemingly with no side effects.

Heh, yeah my car can't get out of it's own way when it has 14.9* of knock retard... I burnt 3 tanks of gas driving home. and a 300 dollar speeding ticket too.
