    '01 LS6 Spring: 12565117 (Blue stripe)
'02 LS6 spring: 12565313 (Green stripe; Stiffer than '01 LS6 spring; If you order this spring, you might get the LS2 spring that is replacing it).
LS2 Spring: 12586484 (Replaces LS6 spring, supposedly same specs, orange stripe)

I don't have PN's for the seat or seals.

so would the best springs to use be the LS6 ones when i get my 3100 heads P&P using SS valves? or what do you guys thinkg would be the ideal setup? and being odb2 im probably not gonna be able to hit 7000 rpms without haveing my shift points redone correct?

if yo udont have a cam with over .510 " lift dont worry about LS6 springs, LS1 springs will be enough

well im getting a custome stage 2 cam not sure what the specs will be yet it will still be streetable for my DD monte but its gonna hopefully give me a lot of power thats why im trying to make sure the heads are setup nicely for it and i want to have my motor bea high rever cause im gonna puta high satll torque converter in there as well :-) so do u think that the ls6 springs will be the best way to go?

Based on my experience, I would not use the stock LS1 springs. They are good to 0.510 lift, but only at the LS1 installed height of 1.8". Installing them onto a 3X00 head at 1.7", you have less lift before you hit coil bind.

The max lift numbers I have seen for LS6 springs are 0.570"-0.600", so losing the 0.100" leaves 0.470"-0.500" for the LS6 spring. I don't have max lift numbers for the LS1, but it is lower.

I don't have the spring rate numbers handy for the 3x00 (harddrive crashed earlier this year), but the stock LS1 springs are actually not a huge upgrade. Installed at 1.7", they have slightly higher seat pressure than the 3X00 springs, but the rate is lower, so the open pressure ends up being slightly less.

The LS6 springs have a higher seat pressure and rate, so they end up with more pressure across the board.

The price of the LS6 springs is ~$5 each from GMPD, which is cheaper than the Comp aftermarket springs. They are going on my next set of heads.

Do the spring seats have any other name they are called or anything? I seriously cannot find them.

Well I found those, thanks for the help, but another question now.

My car revvs to 7000 RPM
If a higher lift and duration camshaft were to be used with these springs would the car still be capable of revving that high or would less revs be available because more of the spring force is needed to close the valves at these higher lifts and durations?
