Okay , I can see your point.
Usually the most interesting things or parts are in the backgroud of a picture.
Specially if the photo was taken in a garage or something similar.
I work as a antenna techician, satellite tv, cable tv .......
That is an antenna amplifier for apartment building.
From 50s or early 60s.

Probably not the best amplifier for modern HDTV-broadcast.
Ahh, the days when being a cable TV technician involved risk of electrocution

I remembered this time to put the bolts to the lifter valley.
To prevent the oil pressure loss.
I quess , no one except me , needs to know this information.
Unless, there are other guys ,that are using mechanical lifters in this type of block.
I've remebered about that pressure loss since the first you posted that you had to pull the intake to install the bolt(s) after forgetting about them on one re-assembly. I found it interesting and went out and examined one of my blocks more closely.
I don't know of anyone else that is running mechanical lifters in their 660, but maybe one day in the future...
I have some old solid flat tappets that fit and will function here, but I decided I didn't need that kind of maintenance. I'll have to figure out what they are though, I only have three of them.
The very much expected Wot Tech heads have arrived.
They came to Finland tuesday, a notice came from the customs and I had
to pay the tax and duty ($ 500).
But I have not yet seen the heads.
I can not collect the heads from the customs, I have to wait for the package.
The system is so that they deliver the package to my house.
Only problem is that they work very slowly at the customs,
I would say dead slow.
Maybe after the weekend , monday the shipment comes.
Everything else is ready in the engine assembly.
The mechanical roller lifters seems to be OK,
some minor scratches , no big deal.
I am sorry to say , but it seems to be so that amateurs here in Finland do better porting
job than pros in the USA.
I had the new Wot Tech heads checked this week, they seem to flow way less than DIY ported heads.
Same flow bench ,Super Flow 600 , made in the USA .
I must say , I am astonished!
The guy working in the shop says the problem is the valve seat area.
The shape in not the best possible. Far away from ideal.
The flow is the same to the 7 mm valve lift, but after that the new Wot Tech heads are bad.
The exhaust flow is extremely bad.
Test comments:
Old DIY heads 13 mm : 337 hp / exhaust 75%
New Wot Tech heads 13 mm : 208 hp / exhaust 65%
