  • More low end toque and power out of 3100

Ok what I have so far is a 3100 with 3400 heads ported and polished to match the gaskets, 3400 ported and polished intakes, 3400 tb, 2.5in down pipe, open exhaust, (this motor is in a race car), higher stall with a converter out of a 4cyl car, and a tuned computer dumping much more fuel, changed shift points with firm shifts and so on..... was tuned on a wheel dyno.

I know next to do is a cam and stiffer head springs. Which cam is the best for my app thinking wot-techs torque cam. Any input would be great. Also any other mods I can do to make this motor come alive some more??

What type of racing are you doing and are you restricted to a certain cam size? What is the weight of the car? Headers would be a good upgrade if you don't have any yet.

Are you restricted to the stock block?
If not, a 3400 shortblock will definitely get you more low end.

You could also swap an entire LX9 3500 in...
