question on 3400 cylinder heads

    I wouldn't worry about it TOO much. I've run 26986s on 3500 heads with more lift than that and have never had any issues. I use locktite when I install the rockers though.

      Youve been running your build a good year now, havent you?
      Took a break from working on the car. Got some better tools, got a better shop, got a better job... Its time to burn metal!

        I ran it from April till October, when the head gaskets blew . Put about 15,000 kms on it so that's a good bit of use.

            I've had 26986's and my cam since 08... Same set of heads it's been apart a few times but it's got a good amount of miles on it... It's been to Niagara Falls, Indianapolis, Chicago, Charlotte, Michigan, and Denver...

              I am running .570 lift and the pac springs and bounce it off 7000 rpm, so far no problems but my heads have the 10 mm studs.
