Sealed Power (Fed-Mogul) does have hyerpeutectic, skirt coated pistons for your 3.1 iron head. I've had a set before in my aluminum head motor for higher compression.

the forged steel pistons. fact is, there is no such thing as forged steel pistons for in most gasoline engines. ther are forged aluminum, steel would weigh a ton.
anyways, does anyone know what compression i would end up with the federal mogul pistons??? are they just the stock 8.5:1??? im realy looking for something higher than that, and i dont wanna have to take a ton off the deck/heads to make up for it.
