You can see they put some time into the chambers on those heads, they look nice.

Pretty cool work on the LIM as well!

Wasn't there a recent video from some Beretta guys that went and saw it a museum?

what am i looking at in the 2nd page? did they create a middle intake manifold that adapts dual circular ports from the plenum to match the rectangular ports on the modified LIM? which, BTW, LIM alone is...... unique, to say the least.

if you slightly rearrange some parts...... it almost looks like the 91-95 LQ1 induction system.

pretty cool. whimpy cam though. I had thought about making a LIM similar to that one, but don't have time/money right now.

you can see the LIM in page 4 much better. Looks like they copied the fuel injected Gen 1 intake.

Those shorter and bigger runners would make a good difference, especially with that plenum.

Gen 2 heads can flow decent, it's always been the LIM/UIM combo that killed them.

I agree, from what I've seen, gen 2 heads can be ported to put out respectable numbers, which makes sense, if you look at the gen 3 heads, they're very similar to the gen 2 heads, just a bit more refined. the intakes are definitely garbage though. long tiny runners choke the poor thing out...

it also interesting to note, this motor made more power per litre then an LS1...

well i think i will try to make one of these over the winter.
maybe i will take the easy way out an just put a tpi throttle body on a 3500 intake.
or maybe i will go i get gen1 2.8 mpfi intake to use the middle and a 3400 bottom. and custom make the top. idk yet just bouncing ideas in my head right now.

I was personally there... I have pictures of that engine up close.

The guy you hear at the end told us no one gave the employee permission to pop the hood so could we kindly delete all the photos we took of the engine bay so they don't end up on youtube or something... LOL WTF! it's not cutting edge R&D, it was just a cobbled together motor with lots of custom parts from GM... I highly doubt GM would care anymore that we have photos since one of the cars with this motor was sold to the public from a Barrett Jackson auction. Plus we can make more power with a 3400 motor and a cam these days... Nothing is overly secret under there.

We should work on a site section for things like this. I still have all the pics I took of the RFRE TTV6.

I also have lots of random 60v6 pics from over the ages.

It wasn't about the technology in the engine, it was the fact we were getting FREE photos of an engine they were selling photos of upstairs.

That intake and plenum is badass too...

Look how intricate their fuel rails are. There's two different lowers pictured, though? Page 4 shows 6 ports in the lower, and Page2 shows what appears to be 12 runners. What's that all about?

it looks like they took the gen 1 intake model witch is a 3 part intake insted on a 2 part.
