    The less timing I used the longer it took to spool/max boost. The answer would have been to swap to a different converter, but I already had the injectors and my fuel options are not that limited. It pulled like a freight train

      Couldn't you still lean it out after the turbo is spooled? High rpm is where you're going to hit peak duty cycle anyway.
