  • 60lb injectors

Looking for a source for a set of 60lb injectors for my build.

Put together my 3.4/3.5 hybrid turbo and about to have the final tune to change over to boost done. Im running stockers for now on the n/a tune. I have 42lb injectors but im told they wont do well with my 400-450 hp goal.

Is there any stock applications that use them or any part numbers i can reference?

Well, if you get it to 425 hp and it goes lean then just bump your fuel pressure up a few PSI unitl you get what you need. What have you done to get to 450 hp? Post a dino graph for us. Larry

I couldnt find any stock apps that used anything more than 42's.

I may be parting with my 60's to upgrade down the road.

these are 60# at 43 psi. and reasonably priced from what I could see.

I think star7467 might be looking for low impedance

with 55# fuel pres. and 42# injecrtors you'll make 450WHP.

              I made 380whp with 30# injectors at 43 psi..

              I don't think you need the 60's.

well its about to go in for tuning and want to have what i need before hand. there are not dynographs to post as it hasnt made it there yet. Id just rather have enought injectors rather then have to buy new ones and haul it back to be dynoed again.

way too many people over injector a car and it's just as bad as going too small.

Funny thing is, witchhunters calculator says I need 700cc injectors, aka 65lb/hr for my legacy to reach 320 crank HP and not exceed 80% DC... I just put down 255whp which calculates to around 320 crank and I only have stock 550 cc injectors...

SO I guess I would ask those who have tried smaller injectors and been successful... rather than relying on just a calculator... LOL

My 60's were above 80% w/t 43psi f/p and I was told for my injectors I should have laid down at least 30% more HP.

I am running 55 lb injectors at 43.5 PSI and only 8 lbs boost so far and will only hit about 70-71 % duty cycle on them and am running 11.5-11.8 AFR. Seem to have a lot of room to up things yet.

I'm running my 60's at 43 psi, witchhunter calculator says that they will support 650 crank at 90% DC. I don't think it's a far stretch to say my camaro puts down 500WHP (so 625 crank)

Could goto 725 crank if you up them to 55 psi 90% DC.

You can use the 60's but I pretty much guarantee you the 42's are fine for your goal. Easier to tune as well.

I was 10.5-10.3 and the tuner leaned my car out to 11.3-11.1 at 19PSI... he gained 30hp by doing that and I'm sure dropped the injector duty cycle. You may gain some significant power by leveling off the fuel and bringing down the timing to prevent KR. You'll get better power with a leaner mixture than you will with the advanced timing... but i'm sure you know that
