Hey guys I got a question, before I put in the new cam, I took a look at the stock bearings, and I can start to see some copper showing, and the bottoms are worn. So I decided I need to put new bearings in. SBC wide bearings will be going in, but I have a few questions...
1) All the bearings should be positioned with the oil hole at 4 o'clock?
2) For the rear plug, should I just pound it out, then get a new one to replace it once the bearings are installled?
3) Installing the bearings, I should start with the back bearing and work my to the front correct?
4) I thought I had the tool around here somewhere, but I dont. So as for the tool, summit has them for the SBC, and since Im using the SBC bearings, I should get that tool?
Anything else I should need to know before doing this? I dont know if it matters or not, but Ill be using the 26986 springs.
Thanks guys
