im working on the origonal drivabeater. its an 89 s10, with a 92 s10 5 speed, clutch, flywheel, and hydraulics, a 94 camaro 3.4, etc.
the new owner had to put a remean tranny in it. he also went with a centerforce clutch, new throwout bearing, new clutch hydraulics, and resurfaced flywheel at the same time.
now he cant get the clutch to disengage.
my thoughts: improperly bled hydraulics
clutch disc too thick
pilot bearing hanging up.
improper stroke on the clutch hydraulics
flywheel too thin making for odd geometry.
any ideas, guys? truck is located about 2 hours north of me, and ill be working out of my bags in the bed of my truck. have no idea what ill actually find when i get there, but i know that ive been trying t walk him through it. gotta be something simple hes missing, but im tearing it the whole way down and staring over with calipers to begin with.
thanks
michael
