      3400 won't need the external trigger, it's set up just like your 3.1 and even has the exact same crank.
      Past Builds;
      1991 Z24, 3500/5 Spd. 275WHP/259WTQ 13.07@108 MPH
      1989 Camaro RS, ITB-3500/700R4. 263WHP/263WTQ 13.52@99.2 MPH
      Current Project;
      1972 Nova 12.73@105.7 MPH

        Are you talking full 3400 swap wont need ext. trigger? I have 2 full 3400 eng.'s 1 is out of a 2000 venture(known to be in good shape)and other i was told was out of a 2000 lumina (?) it is in my 95 beretta now but has head problem.Remember my 3.1 short block with the (what looks like) 2.8 pistons does not have the hole drilled for crank sensor or has the notches on crank for sensor pickup. Also i have a fresh set of 3.1 heads that i orig. going to use.

          I'd drop in the whole good 3400, much better to start off with than the short block you have now. The 3400 has the correct CPS hole.

          Depending on the year of your Beretta you may need a different front mount, daveycav90 on v6z24.com sells them. There are also some other random things you'll need but it's not a hard swap at all.

            Yea i do still have one of them mounts and other parts to do swap that i was going to do before i had the turbo.I was hoping if i could get the cps problem straight i could use my turbo set up off my 91 3.1. I would jump on the 3400 swap if i had exhaust to work for the turbo flange though with the short block i would prolly have to lower compression some.?maybe cam choice?
