Camaro 3.4 crank in a 3.5 block ?

Just wondering if a 3.4 iron head crank will work in a 3.5 block ? I forget if the bore or stroke is different between the 2. Or should I use a 3400 block. My reciprocating assembly has already been balanced but would still need different pistons. Would it have to be rebalanced? I've got 6" rods on it now but those irons heads are killing me. The idea of a roller cam would be a plus, plus higher compression with AL heads.

the crank will work but you'll need bigger pistons, 3.62 bore VS 3.7.

in this case i'd just use a 3400 block but with a 3500 top end.

Either way I'll have to get new pistons. Running 9.8 cr with the iron heads and would be around 13-14 cr with the 3500 heads.

the 3.5 blocks have forged cranks, much stronger than the 3.4...
