I am at work so can not play the vid to hear it but could you have a loose flexplate? It will knock like a rod at a idle and go away with load. Just something that burned me once that I did not find until I was going to pull the engine to dig into it.

I also had this happen... It scared the crap out of me... the TQ converter to flexplate bolts were loose.

But he is also apparently still having some major issues with one lifter... I still think I would replace that first.

I tried the spring upgrade with bad results. It was easy to tell which lifters weren't pumped up. Switched back to stock and no problems since.

I went throught 2 sets of springs for the lifters, seconds time around it was quiet for 3000km and she's making noise again, I'm ordering some new lifters sometime soon

Same, and it would clatter a bit when shut down half the time.

Since it doesn't do it under load (keeps converter bolts tight to the flexplate from the load) I would check it out. It doesn't sound quite like I remember the 91 a week or two after the first auto got replaced and my friend forgot to tighten those. That would be one of the reasons I do my own work now and don't have other do it. The caliper mounting bracket bolt coming out causing the caliper to fling outward and catch my wheel causing it to lock going forward (but I could still go backward just fine) was another.... Luckily I was going slow on that one.

Do an oil sample analysis if you can't already see glitter in the oil now.

I saw glitter in my first 3 oil changes after I built my motor, no rod knocks an no issues, I have 30,000km on it since a complete rebuild. No smoke either.my new knock is a blown header gasket yet again, going to swap to some mls gaskets hopfully this Holliday.

Any time you do a rebuild if you do cylinder honing and rings you'll get glitter in your oil for a little while... everything has to wear in to an extent.

There's a amount of time where u shouldn't see much sparkling oil after a few oil changes and miles. If its staying the same or getting worse then u have to address it.
