Stock replacement for a Syclone is 255 LPH, that's what i'm using. It's no louder than a stock one.

Got started on sorting out the wiring today. Seperated all of the old engine stuff from the engine harness and then organized it. Also labeled all the wires coming off the 9396 and the pigtails that I have.
Greddy turbo timer - $10 haha
Also got one of those bolt-in driveshaft safety loops today. Under $50 shipped can't complain about that!
Oh and picked up ARP flywheel bolts (for some Ford Pinto)Last edited by caffeine; 10-15-2012, 11:24 PM.'89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11

More parts coming in:
New flywheel, fuel pump, 3-bar MAP, clutch position switch (never installed one after auto-manual), screw-in temp sensor, spark plugs, oil filter and rad hoses from Rock Auto today.
I went with the Supra fuel pump mostly because it's supposed to be good to 300 LPH @ 13.5V and I don't want to install a fuel pump more than once since it's not a 1/2 hour job.
Also ordered a cam, pushrods, injectors, fuel pressure regulator, turbo, meth kit and more I think . Should be starting the fuel pump install this weekend. Clutch still isn't here yet .'89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11

I like the blue color, those cars are nice!
Are you planning to keep it stock looking for a sleeper, or dash it up and make it look mean strong?
Where are you injecting the Meth? Pre-turbo gets you cooler intake, post turbo gets you knock suppression....or both?1996 Grand Prix | 3100v6 L82 | T04E-50 Turbo | Getrag 282 w/ EP LSD | SPEC-3 Clutch

Meth is definitely going post-turbo, but may also go pre-turbo. I will be running an intercooler.'89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11

Car should be painted sometime actually. Clear coat is peeling in quite a few areas. I painted the engine bay gloss black about a year and a half ago. I'd really like to get a fiberglass hood and notchback hatch, but shipping is killer on those items and I don't think I could find any locally.
I also want to weigh the car when it's done. It should be quite a bit lighter than stock already with all the tubular stuff, aluminum LS1 driveshaft, A/C delete, cruise control delete, front coilovers, no back seats. Sometimes I run without carpets either. Vette wheels + spacers weigh about the same as the stock 16" Formula wheels.'89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11

Finally got around to starting the fuel pump upgrade.
Got the rear end and exhaust out, back of the car is quite light now
Gas tank is pretty clean. Didn't really know what to expect since I haven't had it out before. I'll probably keep the old pump as a spare for my Fiero haha. Haven't installed the Supra pump yet since I ran out of time today but a quick test fit into the sending unit makes it look like it's almost a direct fit (besides the wiring of course). For the wiring I just need to find out which wires are power and ground and I'll use ring terminals with lock washers to connect to the pump. I'm also going to clean up the resistor for the level gauge since it's never been accurate since I've had the car.
Some parts I've had lying around for a while now. LS1-style front brakes and LT1-style rears. The rear calipers aren't an upgrade at all in fact they look exactly the same as the stock ones with an extra weight where the e-brake attaches. I might see if the bolt on, if not, I'll save them for if I eventually go through with an 8.8" build.
There are also some spring plates in that picture so I can hopefully get some slightly shorter springs up front and have them mount under the strut tower, increasing possible camber adjustment.
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator arrived the other day as well.

I need to see a 10.9x or better slip from you or Mars by the end of the year! :P"I am not what you so glibly call to be a civilized man. Well I'm using Mars' old manifolds and crossover, with a slightly faster spooling turbo and the 6-speed should hopefully accelerate a bit faster. And hopefully nAst1 will have a spark-cut limiter when I'm ready to run. So yes, I'm going for 10s .
However there's nothing for Motorsports around here until March or April except for drifting. Maybe I'll give that a try haha. I'd just hate to damage this shell. There might be some autoX somewhere though but I think that's over now too.
