    You have coolant going through the lower intake, so I don't know how this is going to help with heat. Maybe a 3900.

    I would start from scratch on the crank scraper if you want it. The 3500 will make you cut the 3400 scraper into pieces and probably isn't worth the money as a starting point.

      those are good ideas ( find something that fit and cut it down). I think and heat reduction will be better then none. on the crank scrapper couldn't you get rid of the splash shield on the mains. and put a oil pan baffle system in and bolt your scrapper to that? i"m thinking close to this porsche oneClick image for larger version

        I would guess it needs to be in the pan as well for the 3500 to have a scraper.

          anyone know how thick the bottum of the oil pan is? and is it good enough aluminum to weld on?
