  • Torque Master Plugs

Well I was looking at a Fiero site that came up in another post in this forum and came across these plugs. They are 'highly recommended' yet I have never heard of them...Anyone have any more info on them?

and you can find the spot where i learned about them here...http://www.fierosound.com/34engine/3400details.htm

towards the bottom...look for the tiny pic of plugs and click it

Plugs either work or they dont. Its only job is to ignite the mixture. Get the proper plug for your car (heat range) and stick with it.

Well I picked up some AC Delco Rapidfires....#6...Was that the right plug? I looked on the comuter @ work and there were no rapidfires listed for the LA1..But I noticed that some 3.1 plugs are the same as 3400 ones...So I assumed the #6's would work becausethey are listed for 3.1s...Was I right?

the 60deg V6 hates torquemaster plugs.. stay away from them.

if you want a plug like that, get the Halo plug. www.haloplugs.com or www.halosparkplugs.com

The twin rotor motor in the RX-7 actually uses a similar designed plug on I think the trailing edge. The leading edge are just regular plugs.

I was talking to a rotary fanatic about the torque master plugs actually and he mentioned that the RX-7 has 2 of 4 of the plugs that have the same design due to rotor clearance. When he takes it to the track or dyno he replaces all plugs with colder, regular plugs because 1. they foul out due to being colder, 2. they are cheaper, 3. they work just the same.

I used them in my 3.2 hybrid and my 3200 and they worked great. You contact whoever through the web address and order them.

I used the torquemaster plugs and my engine hated them.. the spark gap was way too wide and idle/response was crap. Never had that problem with the Halo plugs.

Those are interesting looking plugs. What real benefit do they offer?
