one half of me really wants to make this happen, the other half knows I shouldn't...."I am not what you so glibly call to be a civilized man. if you're having clearance issues... why not try an equinox plenum? It's basically the same as a 3500 just with the TB up top.

if I could get one locally, I would give one a try, but they are just so ugly..."I am not what you so glibly call to be a civilized man. Is there enough room behind the engine to keep the thermostat housing at the rear of the engine? (in 3rd-gen F-body)'89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11

I tried fitting a FWD manifold with the t-stat in the rear and the manifold itself fits, but the coolant neck won't without firewall modifications.

How did that help? There's only about .5" from the manifold to the firewall, rotating it won't make it any thinner.'89 Firebird, 3500 Turbo, T56, 9-bolt/4.11
