so wait you lost 13hp going to the MS?

            Looks like torque also dropped.

            What issues are you having?

this dyno doesn't do SAE correction for air temps?

Even with the correction there will still be some variation. The results do seem a little low considering your trap speeds though.

What does your timing table look like?

yes on that day I lost power, this was tuned by a very well known local tuner. He told me on a cooler day I could see as much as a 15whp gain. This type of dyno is also the lowest reading dyno out there so that might be why my hp doesnt match the trap speed. I have yet to race with this tune.

at times when you stab the throttle it hesitates slightly, other times it takes off. not bad at all but its there. also sometimes the car likes to idle at 500rpm with a 10.5afr, its random and its usually fine. just gotta figure out how to reproduce it so he can tune in that area.

as far as air temp correction I guess not.

spark map is pretty low compared to what I thought. ill post a pic in a little bit. but it was made on the dyno, where the peak power was made in each cell is where it was set.

yes I relise the 3d map is not positioned to match the 2d map.

only way to tell how it does is to hit the track and or get it dynoed on a cooler day like my first dyno.

That is how mine has ALWAYS acted and I tried tuning it, had a few people look at it, now I am taking to someone to tune it. If it doesn't get corrected, it'll just be a bipolar tune to live with.
However, my timing is set pretty high and it responds well.

By any chance does your car stall randomly a lot?

not a lot but it does do that. only when I come to a stop. I wonder if we both have a setting wrong or something stupid?

pretty low on the advance compared to how i tune them but i'd trust the guy who is there and hearing/feeling the engine.

Sounds like it needs some fine AE tuning, not sure how that's setup in the MS though.

Here is the SA table from the last tune i sent you in 2009

Alxsmt, Did you make sure that the trigger is in sync with TDC in the MS? When i did mine i found that my pickup was 6 degs off(slow) I made sure my TDC mark was right and then used a timing light to make sure when i told the engine to run at 16 degs it really was at 16 degs. If is not there is a adjustment tab where you can dial it in perfect. Just a thought in case it got overlooked.
