Surprisingly, you guys took it differently from what I wanted it to be. If it did seem like a "jackass" opinion in your POV's,then okay I apologize.

If you hacked and can manipulate OBD1.5 code, please elaborate. People posting in this thread so far are actually staples in the tuning community and have actually worked codes, opinions aside.

i wanted to get one of the programmable tuners but my dad told me my car is to old and can only get a upgraded chip. i see hypertech makes one. what kind of hp will i gain and time shaved off 0 - 60 and 1/4 times. i will be adding new hi flow mufflers
and a k&n air filter. hope to get some good info on this as it's my first car.

how else would one take it, first you say i should just go and try them to find one that may work, this is a forum people with the same interests as i , and i asked to find out what works what does'nt or any, and i found what i needed and then you come along and you're first post is a poke. so i jabbed back
