I need the core heads complete if you want the retainers and valves to be free. I am pretty sure the shipping charge was way more than it will be, though I don't have an easy way of correcting the store to be accurate anyway. I will refund the difference after I ship.

Yeah, the shipping charge was $74.90 (Priority) for all the stuff.
I will send the heads, the springs, valves; everything back to you once the shop takes it off.
I assume yours will be sent assembled (Given the fact I am getting a valve job) and they can just take off my old, and put on my new.
I can even send you my bolts, I am buying new ones, so I will not use them.
You mentioned it could be done at the earliest on Monday or Tuesday, what would be the latest you would have it in the mail? So I can set up some car pooling.
Refunding the remaining shipping cost is fine. I just thought you included a slip for return shipping inside because I am sending the core back-and the cost of that shipping slip was included in the total shipping cost.
Anyway, just let me know which shipper you used, and when you sent it, so I can set the appointment for the mechanic to get it done.
I will post up the results when it is installed, and hopefully, I will never have to post about any kind of coolant problem again, seeing how I know will have ported and polished upper and lower intake manifolds, and heads.
I also ordered the Pacesetter Exhaust as well, so I should see a decent improvement in response in the higher powerbands-hopefully.Last edited by PerfectCreature; 07-06-2012, 04:21 PM.

Ordered all the accessory parts, just got them in today.
I decided to do a complete tune up as well and ordered the following parts:
Pace Setter 88-1474 Exhaust
Fel-Pro Fel-Pro ES74017 Head Bolts
FEL-PRO HST9071PT1 Head Gasket Set
ACDelco 213-802 Oxygen Sensor
ACDelco AFS113 Oxygen Sensor
Bosch 09362 Spark Plug Wires
ACDelco 41-101 Iridium Spark Plugs (6)
ACDelco GF578 Fuel Filter
ACDelco CV892C PCV Valve
I cannot think of anything else needed for a complete tune up.
All I need to do is pick up the LIM/UIM bolts and the T-Stat in regards to what is needed for my headgasket repair. I will not have to worry about getting the heads checked since Ben is porting them and making sure they are all set to be used. I figure the car should run like new with the combination of all the new parts that are probably worn down since my car finally reached 100,000 just before the headgasket blew.

I got a few other items as well, I got the t-stat and the LIM/UIM bolts and I decided to change over to synthetic oil from now on.
Car is in the shop now getting prepped for when the heads come in.
I appreciate the help from everyone. I will submit an update and post up a garage section for my vehicle when done.
Thank you.
