i was just wondering if i can change the cts in my 3100 v6 to the one they offer at jeg's they offer for a Lt1 motor? it turns the fans on at 180 degrees, off at 220. will they fit and how do i hook it up because i have two wires to my sensor and don't know how.

The ECM turns on the fans. Not sure how the LT1 works, even though I figured it would be the same. Maybe the sensor readas a higher temp and thus gives a signal to the ECM of 220º when its actually only 180º. Doesn't really seem like the best idea to me...
Why not just put a manual switch in so you can turn the fan on whenever you want?-Brad-

The only thing I can think of is the internal resistance of the sensor may be different changing what the ECM would register. Just fooling the ECM into turning the fan on and off.To Many Mods To List, Check It Out At
