I have Grand Am, it is the SE version with the 1.875 or whatever size exhaust.
I am looking to get the GT exhaust placed onto the car, which is 2.25 or something like that.
Would that be a worthwhile improvement?
I need the exhaust replaced because of rust, so I was thinking this would be a good alternative.
My state has a strict exhaust law, and they hate loud exhausts, needs to be less then 95 decibels or whatever and certified by a certain test.
My other question is if anyone knows the decibel rating off the top of their heads of the possible exhausts.
My options have been the Pacsetter, Flowmaster (40 or 80) and the Magnaflow.
I was wondering which of those would be the most quiet across the band of RPMs.
I need them to be quiet enough to not disturb people and attract the attention of any cop looking for a loud exhaust.
