If the pump stops for some reason, there is the possibility of using a level switch and dash indicator light, giving you the chance to pull over LONG before you end up starving the engine. An oil-pressure switch can be used in case of full oil loss to the pump.
One last thing... the concept is for use in a dual purpose circuit and street car. So no more "why put it in a street car" please. Understand the reason why Im thinking about this. It may be a viable option for someone making a "budget" race car.
P.S. Im probably not going to put this in my car. If anything, depending how much more serious this build gets, I may end up with a dry-sump anyway. Im just looking for ways to iron out the kinks.
