Guys, I need mufflers for my fiero, and I've head of the mufflers with little wheels in the make make your car go fast... I think someone called one a turbo?!

anyone want to recommend sizes for a LX9 5 speed fiero? It'll be twin setup, that I'd prefer to spool up relatively quick, the engine is a stock G6 gt motor with headers. not looking to make a million hp, just poke fun at some of the V8 and 3800 sc guys.

Take a look at stock Cobalt SS turbos. They are cheap on e-bay. They are used on 2.0L engines and can make 300 HP each.

I looked into this but then decided on a single turbo. Duals seemed like headache to install.

If you want to size them you have to work off of mass flow.

But why pay more and do more work when GM put turbos on an engine that's 2.0L. Your running a 3.9L?? So only a .1L mismatch in size. Which should be fine.

Honestly though... You may want to re-evaluate your goals. The stock connecting rods in the LZ engines are like a twig.

Not sure on the LX engines.

Also just reused you are probably talking about 3.5L.

GMs new ecotechs are 1.4L turbo. Won't be long until people start replacing the stock turbos... Check e-bay for either 1.4L turbos or 2.0L.

Also Audi uses 1.8 L to 2.0L so that's another option.
