Well I have sourced a turbo Grand Prix turbo setup. I think I am going to use everything other then the turbo its self for now and upgrade later maybe to a front mount intercooler. What turbo would I be able to run in place of the stock turbo that will perform well on the 3100 with around 6-8 pounds of boost?

The T3/T04E 50 trim is a great match. 54 and 57 trims also work but I feel, imho, the 50 trim is best.
keep in mind I have the small port 3100. The 54 or 57 trim may be better for you.
You should learn to read turbo maps, it isn't too hard and it gives you the power to match the engine to a turbo mathematically. Numbers always match IF the operator has the right data.
But tossing a t04e-50 on will work well. Much better then any gt25-28Last edited by TGP37; 03-04-2012, 01:19 PM.1996 Grand Prix | 3100v6 L82 | T04E-50 Turbo | Getrag 282 w/ EP LSD | SPEC-3 Clutch

Got my TGP stuff today. Just using it for mock up and going to use my 3x00 exhaust manifolds and make a turbo crossover for a different turbo.
And comparison between 31xx and 3.1 head exhaust manifolds
And this is the 3.1 exhaust manifold with the 3x00 gasket to show the difference in size.
