  • 95 Cutlass Ciera possibly scored.

I realize these cars are butt ugly lol but theyre a really good daily driver. I'm in the process of trying to get one for cheap to drive. I've had a 3100 in a Grand Prix when i was a teenager and it held up to my abuse somehow. So onto the questions.

It's gonna need an intake gasket pretty soon so I might as well put on the 2000? and up upper and lower intake on it while it's apart and give it a little more oomph right? So is it a direct bolt on replacement or are there any kinds of custom work that has to be done? Also my dad had to change the intake on his 01 Grand Prix recently. It has the 3100. He still has the old throttle body on it. Would the 01 TB be an upgrade for the 95 model 3100? Thanks guys.

    I have a 1993 Cutlass Ciera with a 3300.It moves decent for a grandpa car.lol
I have a nice 3400 top end if you wanted to make more power if your already doing the intakes.
Cheap this stuff needs to go soon

Yes I would definitely be interested but I need to know if it's just a direct replacement or if you have to do anything at all custom to make it work. The reason is because my brother will be changing it out and i don't think he'd be interested in really changing it if it's not almost a direct replacement.

        If it's a 1995 3100 then it would work.You'll just need a TB from a 3400 or get a 65mm.
I have everything you need besides that heads rockers intakes.Even metal felpro LIM gaskets

Would the 3400 heads be worth putting on? How many more estimated HP would the 3400 heads give me? Because I had only planned on the better upper and lower intake but if heads do much good I would be interested in that as well. BTW I don't wanna have to get it tuned. I just want a little more pep.

well i stock 3100 is 155? And a stock 3400 is around 180. Maybe 15 to 20 or more. The parts are perfect no cracks clean with 60xxx miles. The LIM gaskets cost 100. Im looking for 100 for parts+ SHIPPING.And i think thats really fair

When I get the car I will buy them. No tuning will be needed though?

Ok thanks. I'll keep you posted. If I do indeed get the car like I'm planning I WILL buy the intake, heads, and gaskets off of you.

Sorry to sound like a worrywort here but I just read something about the EGR being different if you do the 3400 top end swap. Said you'd have to buy a part from some website or customize the old one yourself to make it work. Whats that about? Or did I misunderstand it?
