      Colin,
what did the plenum cost you in CDN funds? 66mm TB opening works out to about 500 cfm potential right? Thanks.

Just a quick update...my plenum came in today. So far, I have found two minor issues with mounting it onto a 3X00. First, the stud that holds the colant tube to the lower intake between the #2 and #4 cylinders is too long, preventing the plenum from sitting flat. This should be easy to fix by cutting some off the end of the stud. Second, the clearance appears to be tight with the fuel pressure regulator.

I am heading to dinner, but I will get some pictures and more details later tonight.

The plenum arived on my doorstep today, in one piece, no thanks the the awesome packaging of GMPD. It was in a box twice its size, with no packing material whatsoever, free to bounce around the box. The MAP sensor on the back of the plenum protrudes out, and I am surprized it didn't get broken off.

Anyway, back to the plenum. Here is a picture showing the interference with the coolant tube mounting stud. By cutting off the top 1/4 or so of the stud, it should clear.

Here is a shot showing the fuel pressure regulator rubbing. This is a FDP AFPR, but it uses the stock lower portion, and it is this lower part that is hitting. I do no have the plenum quite lined up, as the FPR prevents it from going far enough forward. I'm not sure exactly how much more clearance is needed until I cut the coolant tube stud off and get the plenum sitting flatter.

Think the plenum is thick enough to grind away for the FPR clearance?

that stud you speak of, I'm most of us don't have that, just a regular screw. Do you have any shots of the back side by the egr?

I'm not sure. I am going to check tomorrow. I might try loosening the fuel rail mounting bolts, and repositioning the whole assembly a little further forward before tightening it back down. I think this should help some.

The neck of the plenum seems to be about as think as the 3400 plenum, which isn't much.

Here are a coupls pics of the EGR mount and TB bolt pattern. There seems to be two holes feeding into the plenum. The lower hole enters from the side, and feeds underneath just past the TB. The second hole fees into the side of the plenum just past the TB. I am not sure which one is the EGR, and what the second hole is for. Any ideas?

                          Marty, nice sandles :P

the Round hole on the flat front facing surface with the One bolt hole: EVAP Purge valve fitting.

the side two bolt port. is for the EGR valve.

i dont use a stud in my LIM where your manifold is hitting... however yeah i havnt tryed to fit it too the car yet for the other issues..

Oh and the other issue i thought of the otherday was that with the drive by wire t/b there is no t/b cable bracket bolt holes. however if making a throttle body adapter plate, one could drill and tap the adapter (if it was thick enough and machined properly) for the holes for the throttle cable Bracket.

so has anyone actually gotten one of these to work on their 3x00 or hybrid yet
seems the main thing that needs to be adressed is an adapter for the 3x00 tb and some other minor issues
