Has anyone installed a secondary in-line fuel pump on their car? If so how difficult was it and what kind of pump did ya use? Are there any tricks I should know before I put one on myself?

I'm not sure an inline fuel pump will help at all. It can't pull through the existing pump in the tank. So the most fuel you will get is what the stock pump will push. Not sure if there is a high volume pump available. You can gut your in-tank pump, then install a high volume inline made by Holley. If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

The only reason to run an inline pump is if you are looking for more pressure than the in-tank pump can deliver. The in-tank pumps max out at around 70 psi, but you can get in-tank pumps that run 255 liters/hr (that's what I have) and since I run stock fuel pressure, I have no problems with the in-tank 70 psi limit.

I planned on looking into a turbo setup later on so I might need the extra fuel.To Many Mods To List, Check It Out At
