What would cause the vehicle to fire once then stall and then require 25-50% throttle to get it to fire again and run with 10% throttle for about 3 minutes before it will idle on its own? Too tight tb blade?

that's a lot of throttle to keep it running, I'd say you have multiple tuning issues. Got a datalog?

OBD-I & II IAC are the same.
Not yet, Ben has me going in the right direction but i've been dealing with other issues like my new walbro pump isn't working ha. I plan to troubleshoot the fuel pump tomorrow after work. Got a new larger battery for her. Marc, Very little pedal travel is required. I have a spare IAC from a 95 grand prix parts car I have that i'm going to test once I can resolve the fuel pump issue. Ben also confirmed the IAC's are the same throughout the years.

Oh and thanks to whoever moved this thread, lots more responses now. I suppose I could of moved it myself unless Burter(ben) removed my privileges. But I think Ben will like this, NO XPZ cam install on the 02GTP until the 95 grand prix is running and tuned!

I have the same problem. I go a couple of blocks when cold, then the first stop--BAM! stalls and will not fire unless the gas pedel is held wide open. Never does it the rest of the day. Believe me: new fuel pump and gauge unit, new fuel pump relay, new ignition switch, new map, tps, iac, iat, coolant temp sensor, engine computer, ignition module, coil packs, plug wires, spark plugs, all AC delco and/or GM dealer parts. I removed every wire harness cleaned and inspected every strand and zero ohmed them all, put it all back and the issuse persists. It has been a while since I have had the fuel injectors cleaned (on the car, running on solvent). GM dealer friend says injectors may not run rich enough due to deposits, he recommends cleanings between 40--60,000 miles, for trouble-free operation. Amazon sells OTC starter kit for $99.00 just need GM fuel rail adapter and $11.00 can of cleaner. Runs on 30 PSI of air, just cut power to fuel pump for 30 minutes of running on cleaner. It even can decarbonize intake manifold using a vacuum port close to throttle body.

Tried 2 spare iac sensors and same issue. Did a continuity test from the pcm to the pigtail and all less than 1.1 ohms. What I don't get is why am I getting 10.75v at the pigtail when battery V is 12.6.
