Something that I've wanted to have for a long time is a dual throttle body intake manifold for my '85 Fiero. A couple years ago I bought one from a guy that was already finished, but it had a lot of qualities lacking:
Stock intake manifold vs old DTB manifold:
Installed, never worked right for me:
So, long story short I was never happy with it so I took it off, installed the original manifold again and sold the DTB setup to another adventurous Fiero owner. This is what my engine bay looked like a couple weeks ago:
Now I got a local shop near me to take on this project and they hit a home run! It works great, looks awesome and made some decent power. Without doing any tuning the car gained +13RWHP and +25RWTQ!
New pics:
The manifold is now for sale here:
Sounds like they've sold a couple of these now to other Fiero owners as well.
The car is a lot of fun to drive now, it seemed pretty slow and boring before. If I really want to, now the car will even do burnouts!!
We took the Fiero to a Fiero-Only car show in Frazee a couple weeks ago and everyone thought it was fantastic.
