  • Full Throttle MAP readings 3900 LZ9

Does anyone by chance have a datalog with full throttle map readings on a 3900 LZ9?

Just curious how bad the throttle body restricts the flow.

you can't use a drive by wire to determine that if you aren't using it. I suggest not using it if you care about its restriction as its response is poor.

I agree with been, drive by wire isn't all that great as far as performance goes, and I worry about safety too, I know how many throttle position sensors I've changed...

I'm more or less curious about the manifold pressure at wide open throttle. It'll tell me how much restriction there is. Unfortunately the engine is on the stand.

As to the ETC. I'm probably going to end up re-programming the controller. It appears to be a 16 Bit microprocessor which isn't too hard to re-calibrate. Alternatively I can make my own controller probably as easily. We'll see. I'm not into the controls part yet. In a month or two I should be by then winter will be rolling around and I can dig into the coding with more effort.
