  • Internals for a turbocharged 3.4

Where can I buy a set of pistons and a cam for my 3.4 project? I am looking to turbo charge this motor in the future so I want to set this up now for the future project. I know you have to lower the compression for this and have to use something other then stock pistons. I also understand the cam has to be designed for turbo applications. There is so much misinformation on the internet so I figured I would come here and ask for help and guidance.

    Thanks in advance!

you'll have to order custom forged pistons. there are no "off the shelf" forgings for the 3.4L.

which 3.4L is this? the older Iron head engine? or the newer 3400?

for camshafts best place for custom grinds seems to be Crower.
im sure the boosted guys will have more specific info for you.

im sure you have seen this by now (not many people dont know of him and his car) but if you have never been here: http://www.turboz24.com

Why don't you ask the fiero board. Or do a search over there!!!

They never spew misinformation over there.
