  • My 3400/3500 Build

I got my tax return I could not pass up an amazing deal!
It was more than I wanted to spend on my car, but I plan on getting a 4 banger/gas getter soon so why not go for the stars with the GAGT?
I also ordered a Re-manufactured Rack and Pinion. I have no clue how Im going to get it in there but for $100 It was a good deal too.

I just recently put WOT-Tech Comp ported UIM/LIM's in, and I loved the added pull I got, minus tune. The new heads will be the back-bone to any other mod I have planned from now on. Headers were going to be next but there going to have to wait...

Right now I'm plan to be installing

    3500 Heads
    WOT-Tech Street/Strip Porting
    Comp Cams 26986 Springs

    3500 LIM
    WOT-Tech Competition Ported
    For 3400 Upper Intake

AND possibly a MP Racing PCM...
I just want the Shift kit.
I dont trust a mail order tune.....

Parts will be in my possession in 2 weeks, maybe less. I have a couple days to wait for another check. That damn waiting game.... Love my PS3 though!

I Tacked this up from stuff I got from WOT-Tech.
It looks like ~20 CFM +/-8 across the board!

You should consider the HPTuners setup for tuning before you go any further. I can help you get your setup tuned, especially if you get a wideband setup. I can do the shift kit program no problem. I should probably list generic tunes since I am capable of something basic on a mail order level. I need more local people, and more people with HPTuners on 60V6 engines.

That is considerable, cause I am worried about going lean, I can feel it now right after second gear enguages at WOT. Jut for a second though

Hey Ben, Do you think it would be possible to have tourqe converter lock up in second gear on my 05 4T65E? once i order the parts from ya i'll be getting HPT, and hopfully paying you for atleast a good base tune.

        Its runs!!!>>>Aint No 60* Sound Like Mehttp://youtu.be/YKEmNwa141U

You could change the settings to allow lockup in 2nd but I haven't tried it.

For a high stall converter it would work out friggin great while driving in the city. Now i can decide on going with a higher stall

                      Small hold-up.
I was doing some cross checking and I now need 8mm rockers. My car is 02 and there 10mm. Good news I can have my 3400 heads complete.

                        UPDATE!
Have everything pictured. I am getting head bolts today.
I cant find the temp sensor to thread into the 3500 head, every part store gets me one thats waay to big and they say its for the 3500 Pushrod motor.
And I still need 8mm rockers and Id like to do headers while I'm in there but I have been turned away from pacesh**ters. I will hopefully be installing it all in ~2 weeks

Generally, they are not recommended due to poor construction (carboard used for the end cap).
Don't cheap out; get a good filter.
