I drive to Stockton yesterday, Its just about 300 miles round trip, Half freeway driving, half hill driving.
I wouldn't say I was really easy nor hard on the throttle, But I didnt have to fuel up on the way home! I made it all 300 miles on a fill-up.
About 5 minutes before we got home my gas light come on.
So Id say 2-4 MPG improvement on first tank of gas.

Before I was averaging about 250-270 miles a tank.

Which magnaflow is that? Is that 2.5 catback without a res? I was thinking of getting a magnaflow myself (don't have the number on hand right now).
Is it loud and does it drone?

                  Its #12266 Its for the V8 Camaro/Firebird.
When I had it installed, it made a nice difference, but the good sound came when I put in the Magnaflow Cat.
I still have the stock resonator in place.

Minor problem, stupid mistake, but plenty fixable.
I have a small oil leak right at the ridge of the block on BOTH side.....
So apparently even though the 3500 gasket set has the new ridge gasket. I drilled for it and installed it properly.
I FAILED to put RTV silicone at the edge of the ridge gasket against the heads.
I plan on tearing down in the next 3 days to fixxxxx... Whoo...

                      Epic fail sir.

I'm guessing you forgot to put some RTV between the LIM gasket and VC gaskets too?

That sucks, but at least you caught it early and not in the middle of a road trip.
As you say, easy fix but a PITA.

                        And this....

Dude, he realized his mistake and knows he has to fix it.....kinda harsh throwing an epic fail at him.

Unacceptable reply. He made a mistake, documented it, and shared it with the community so that someone else can see it and not make this mistake.

                            Epic, No. Simple mistake.
Fail, yes. It can and will be fixed.
No, but keep on guessing. This was my first run with the 3500 gasket set. Its just about the same as the 3400.
Its not like I mixed up the intake and exhaust pushrods... haha

I guess sarcasm is lost on this forum.

Either way, good you found the mistake OP, sucks you have to go back and fix it, the gaskets should still be good.

Doesn't Fel-Pro give you a little piece of paper telling you to put RTV there? I mainly use GM gaskets so I don't know.

HOYS, Sarcasm and Frustration dont mix well.
Its dumb knowing I have to dig right back into it.
I should have known anyways. There was included RTV, I only used a little.
I just feel I should drain the coolant and do my best with that direction so when I pull the LIM, I don't cross-contaminate.
I dont want to have to flush my block again. I switched to Green Coolant.
