  • These same performance heads again!!one!11

Ok I remember seeing them on ebay a few months ago. I guess its been over 3 months or something as I went back through their old auctions.

But anyways Zigorous racing heads for the iron head motors.

I remember seeing these a few months back. I guess they sold them on ebay or something. Either way here they are again. This is the second set of supposed experimental sets of heads that I have seen come from these people.

How come is it, that after 3 or so months they still use the same pictures? And that they still have no new ones?

I thought these were some type of deal with a guy named Tiago or something like that from a different board. If he is a true 60 degree guy then wouldnt' he have better pics by now?

Should I just ask him in am email or what?

A 6 angle valve job on just the seat? WTF am I crazy here or does that seem rediculous? You add 1 or 2 angle degree cuts to the valve as I have done most of the time and now you end up with a 7-8 angle valve job? Come on now. Does that sound excessive?

Unless someone knows here for sure I will send an email to the guy.

It looks like those heads are sitting in a sand blasting machine and the chambers look like they've been sandblasted. And if he says they've been CNC'd, why would those heads be sitting on a manual mill's table with a fly cutter. $1000 wouldnt even cut the programers bill for a real CNC job anyway. "The heads have been CNC machined, CNC ported, hand ported" << why???? Still not a bad price if those are the actual heads.

They look like stock heads, with a cleaned up deck and header mounting flanges.

That's the view of the stock combustion chamber (looks identical too me).

Exhaust side, and except the lack of decking the exhaust manifold surface, looks the same there too.

There is such a thing as a 6 angle valve job. It makes air flow smoother but wears out too fast for street use.
