I rebuilt a 1988 Fiero 2.8 using the 3.1 crank and the iron head pistons with a .030 over bore.Sealed power piston #H562CP and a Crane cam 2030.
My question is are there any aluminum heads that I can now bolt on with the Feiro intake
that will raise the compression higher and still able to use regular fuel?I think I would like to end up with about a 9.75 to 1 .Any suggestions I am slightly disappointed with the performance of it the way it is both performance and economy and I have to pull it out to do a trans repair(trans leaks its a 440/t4) and thought if I could improve it with a set of heads I would. And yes the ecm has been reprogramed for the mod its running real close to BLM 128 through the rpm range.
