  • finally got to polishing my rods, wow

So i played around with my rod ballancer, i gotta fine tune it and end up actually using a pendulum over the original setup, it just wasnt consistant, i spent so much time trying to figure out why, but that was the only reason.

So i'm not completely done with these, right now there with in 2 grams over all weight, and 27 grams lighter that stock! thats a huge weight savings, and i only took everything down till the cast dissapeared, on the cap end, i took off that huge lip and make everything 'equal', or 'even'. they turned out nice! i have some fine detail left but thats another day, my nech is killing me and the wife is pissed off a bit. I left one completely untouched, and holding both, you can actually feel the difference. enough talk, heres some pics!

27 grams is ALMOST an ounce...

you might have more sensitive nerves or something, i know i can't tell the difference of an ounce at the weights that the rods come in at.

im sure it can make a difference when you are talking about rotating weight though.. lighter always the better. id have a machine shop check and make sure they're still balanced

That will be done when everything gets sent out to be ballanced.
