Don't go the 134- route. I've used freeze-12 in 2 cars now and it works great in R12 systems, you won't even need to evacuate it!

That is truly amazing. I know your car is a lot lighter, and has significantly better gearing, but its going 3 tenths and 2mph faster than my TURBO 3.1 pushing 10psi boost! That is amazing to me. That engine has to be putting out similar power to mine...and I'll say it again, mine is boosted! And to think, your car has the same bottom end as mine (well basically, besides yours being bored over and all that), but the topend of the engine along with a good intake and good header/exhaust setup can make up for the crappy intake and turbocharger on mine. I really need to do something about my upper intake setup.

I just can't believe it. And that is with the stock ecm programming. Some tuning and a different ECM, along with a better launch and that thing is EASILY in the 13's.

I am impressed to say the least.

Hell yeah, tuning that thing is gonna get you real close if not into the 13s. I could look it up but ill just ask, what injectors are you using?

Thats what I was thinking. Slicks alone will get the car into the 13's without doing anything else to it. A 1.9 60' and you will see some 13's (you have to remember that a 60' that is one tenth better is 1.5-2 tenths at the end of the 1/4). With some good slicks you should be able to pull low 1.8 60's pretty easily once you learn how to launch the car right assuming the car has the power for it (which with your 5 speed shouldn't be a problem...in an auto it might be). I would definately invest in some stickier tires if I were in your position. I can't remember what size the stock injectors are...18-19lbs. sounds about right? I would imagine its starving for fuel with that kind of power too...I think mine with my 22lb. injectors is running out of fuel, so you pretty much have to be. I can't wait to see what that thing does tuned!

The engine looks good in the pics too...I'm jealous.

oh. dont worry i know MT has slicks. i just dont have any $$ for them right now.

i'll likely be borrowing my buddies M/T slicks which are mounted on lightweight Bogart rims (yeah he has custom bogarts in 5X100 pattern for his 01 cavy)
the rim tyre combo weighs only like 10-15pounds or something.. simply amazing.. incredibly stupid expensive rims though...

yeah if i could hit a 1.9 60 foot... id be laughing.

there are a few guys here locally running even the BFG Drag Radials (the gforce style) and are running 1.8 and 1.9 60's FWD setups.
