  • lx5 throttle body

ok, besides the plate from wot-tech what all needs to be done to put it on my large port 3100 thats in a 96 beretta if it matters any. i know its got vacuum lines on it, but i think of t'ing off of a another vacuum line, and second what needs to be done to put my throttle cable onto the lx5. it needs some type of modifying to fit according to wot-tech. what type of tb bracket modifying need to be done and if there is any other better thing to do with the vacuum let me know please.

You got a few options, you could swap the butterfly rod ( I can't remember what it's called) and use your original and open up the slot in the middle so the 65mm plate will fit in (thats if the plastic piece is completely different to your original) and simply bend up your cable bracket to wor with the bottom front bolt of the lx5 tb and drill and tap 2 holes on the top of the adaptor plate so it fixs to the tb very similar to the way it originally did. I'll post pics later to explain it all better

That plastic guides shape will change with different body styles ext. so its best to have it like stock, and you can just bend your original bracket like this and everything will work out just fine. if not, you can use a LX5 braket and cut out or modify the holes for the cables to lock into it. They are in different positions and different shapes, so it will mess with cable length and how they attach to the plasic guide. Your choice

So my next question is what if I sent it to you to modify and I'll pay you?
