There were many designs to build off of, i built after the most commonly used that i could find, and for the like of the design. I just dont like the pengalum held design for the unweighted side.
This is made out of 1/2 plexi glass, 3/4 high friction plastic, 3/4x10" rod, and some misc. bolts and of course a scale accurate to 0.01 of a gram. The dies for the rods were cut using hole saw bits, and cleaned by mounting the dies with a bolt and putting them on a drill and filing/sanding them up.
