I would do it myself or get the megasquirt.

Yeah, I also noticed there's a PnP MS kit available for our cars.
Now my question is, is it really PnP? I've heard there are a couple of relays that need to be added for the fuel pump and other stuff in order to make it work. Something regarding the way GM supplies power vs MS. Is this still holds true for the newer PnP model with the delphi 56 pin?
I really would like to go back to stock computer just in case I run into any failures.
Also, can MS control TCC? Mine is an auto 4t60 swap.Last edited by yeyo_racing; 12-30-2010, 11:34 AM.

Yes, I had to rewire my fuel pump relay. I just had to switch two wires. Basically the factory ECM sends a ground to activate the relay and the MS sends 12v.
There is a write up on MS and TCCs here about 3/4 the way down the page. I have this wired in and configured, but I've yet to get my car over 20mph since I put it away for the winter so I cannot tell you if it works or not lol.

I also left my stock harness in tact. If I ever change my mind about MS, I can switch back the wires on the fuel pump relay and plug the stock ecu in.
If you can solder at all, this is the setup I used: http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/m...ase-p-119.html
You will also need a stimulator or as I like to call it "digital car." It's another 60 bucks but it will be good practice if you haven't built a PCB in a while.Last edited by Jonpro03; 12-30-2010, 02:23 PM.

I contacted DIY Autotune in regards to their PnP Megasquirt for GM and this is what they have to say.

Hello Javier,
We've already included provisions for this: You would wire the fuel pump
driver output to a high side driver on the DIYPNP board, and wire the
high side driver output to the fuel pump relay. No extra relay needed.
The DIYPNP lacks PWM injector current limiting, but is otherwise about
the same as an MS2 in terms of the inputs and outputs you can add to it.
However, we have included the circuitry to build these outputs already,
no mod kits needed.
Thanks,
Matt Cramer
