  • 3500vvt UIM on 3900 LZ9

    Hey guys,

Some of the searching I've done has lead me to a few threads where the LZ9 ram horn UIM was exchanged for the 3500vvt UIM, but none say if anything other then the UIM was changed. Does this switch really free up some power, and if so was anything else changed to the motor to allow for the removal of the VI? The car that Im considering the swap on is a 2006 g6 with the f40 if that matters.

    thanks for the input

its a great intake, you will have no control over the module without wiring and programming.

So outside of installing the 3500vvt UIM nothing else is needed?

Should swap over without a problem. Not sure that you will notice a difference, as default is closed for the ram horn without the PCM to optimize for low to mid range power not far from what the single stage upper will be.
