    What track were you going to?

    makes me wonder what kind of power Ill see with a tune and some headers... or atleast a tune!

        I wouldn't. Anything over 6k on a stock setup its just making noise. My cam is quite a bit different than yours.

        Track I was at was Beaver Springs in PA

          does the 97 ecm have the cylinder disable as torque management? like the GTP?

            yes, but IIRC torque managment isn't enabled as a whole so it shouldn't be doing anything.
