  • Setting up a adjustable Fuel Pres. Reg question?

    Ok I'm buying this trick flow regulator from summit racing. I was reading the instructions and the way they say to hook it up doesnt seam to make sense to me. Here is the link to the instructions;

    Also it says that the vacuum will leak past the set screw when it isn't running. Does that mean it's going to take longer to start it? And why isn't this emissions legal?

    Ok, I updated the diagrams. duh I dont know why i was thinking it was on the supply side. It makes more sense now the way trick flow says to plumb it.

    The fuel pressure regulator will always be at the end of the rail, in other words, between the final rail exit and the return line. Remember, it's job is to regulate the fuel pressure over the injectors. Both of those drawings are wrong.

          That regulator looks like it will work fine. Just get the inlet and outlet right and your in business.
