  • Maf/Throttle Body Questions

    1) Is there a minimum or optimum distance upstream from the throttle body to position the MAF sensor?

    2) Can the MAF sensor be positioned downstream from the throttle body?

    Thanks.

how can the MAF be downstream of the TB?

and one hard and fast rule is to keep any and all restrictions/bends/whatever away a specific distance at a minimum: 10 times the diameter of the tubing.

has something to do with any kind of disrupted airflow being smoothed out on it's own by that distance.
