But you're sticking with the iron head, so that is not relevant. How high of RPM do you plan on running? One of the problems we run into is the input RPM of the transmission limiting what we can run as it won't shift above so many RPM... Also stock rods have an RPM limit of 7k.

    the shorter stroke and less displacement will also net less power than a 3.31" stroke crank would.

    My 3500 has no problems with high RPM's, at 7K it's still making 260+ WHP.

    Current Project;

      True, I just want to see what a small displacement 3x00 would do with all the bells and whistles.

        I need some higher comp pistons -pref forged- 9.5:1 to 10.5:1. It seems no one is making them anymore wthout going to custom ones. Does anyone have anyone any NOS -NEW OLD STOCK or know of madufacture still making them?

        We have a turbo 2.8 in our 86 Fiero GT this Norm Aps engine will go into our 87 Fiero
        I just had to point out, that Um that engine pic shouldnt be used for advertising as your upper outlet hose was off, quite amusing.. I agree with bob do the 3400 conversions.. otherwise your piston selection stinks.. *end of rant*

              Yes, you can get 3.4 in higher comp ratios. As for the 2.8 you have to get customs.
